Oneworld Accuracy (1WA) are an independent, social enterprise group with headquarters in Vancouver, Canada and satellite office in Messina, Italy.
1WA are an ISO/IEC 17043:2010 accredited External Quality Assessment (EQA) Provider by A2LA under certificate Number 4839.01. They provide a comprehensive set of +200 accredited EQA programs spanning all clinical disciplines. They provide EQA participants with a unique, compelling and constantly improving value proposition.
1WA also act as coordinator of collaborative EQA, whose goal is to organize sustainable, networked, collaborative EQA in all countries using OASYS (Oneworld Accuracy System) as a shared informatics system. For them, EQA should meet international standards, empower in-country EQA Providers and harness informatics to transform data into information, knowledge and wisdom. These are the DNA strands that inform collaborative EQA.
Scientists in research institutes, WHO collaborating centres, EQA Providers, universities, professional associations and NGOs participate in 1WA Science Architect Program. WA1 incorporate their expertise in medical and laboratory science into clinically definitive, best-of-breed EQA programs with a focus on new innovative new diagnostics such as molecular diagnostics and those that advance global public health goals such as UNAIDS 90-90-90, WHO End TB Strategy and WHO GLASS. Science Architects manufacture the EQA samples for the resulting programs. These are set up in OASYS and provided globally by Leadership Members and Associate Members. Science Architects receive recognition, revenues from EQA samples and a recurring global dataset of EQA performance to sustain and advance their research and development.
